I have driven past this place at least 500 times and I am so glad I finally stopped in. The food was fantastic and the show the chefs make while cooking on the hibachi was fantastic. This is a great place to go for a birthday as it seems they really do a nice job. I have a severe shellfish allergy and one of our party had a gluten allergy and they were extremely accommodating to ensure our safety and also enjoyment. Good place to go. That's more local than other spots. And the ambiance inside was just made the whole experience more memorable.
Akilll. Manager is awesome.. English, Spanish, Arabic, and anything else you speak. Aurora waitress cute lady from China works so hard to make sure you are happy.. even non. Hibachi.. the place is dated and needs upgrades but the service is next to none, it may take a moment for translation but they will make sure you are happy, like an Italian grandma
We had an amazing time! The food was DELICIOUS. I had the Jenny Boy Roll, I totally recommend it, it was so good. The restaurant itself is very cozy and the staff was so nice and friendly. The guy who made our food was hilarious! It was a really great experience. We are definitely coming back.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is decorated beautifully, in the classic style of old school Japanese hibachi restaurants. We were seated quickly. The food was good, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly. It is very easy to get to, right in rt 23 in Wayne.
I am so impressed by the staff at Izumi. I called to make sure they can make my food gluten free. They said yes, no problem. But when we got there they did not have any GF soy sauce. The manager immediately sent someone to the store to buy some. Then the food I had was so incredibly good. Everyone had a great time from the kids to the parents. We look forward to going back soon!

best hibachi in the area! food is always consistently good! The portions are enormous! Akil up front is so welcoming, friendly, accommodating, amazing with our kids, and a hard worker! The chef Jet Blue is the best with his singing, positive energy, and including our kids in the whole experience. Our family loves coming here! Thank you for a fun and delicious night always!
The food was great and the chef did an amazing job. The interior makes up for the exterior almost immediately. Definitely somewhere I will try again.
Awesome restaurant with some of the best margaritas I have ever tasted in my whole life. Great portions delicious food super fresh. The chefs are awesome and ambience is just a really great time. Great for groups and celebrations. Must visit when in Wayne.
